Each of these lists compile hundreds of free Web tools that educators find useful in their classroom, library, or other venue.

Web Tools 4 U 2 Use

This wiki was created for school library media specialists by  Dr. Donna Baumbach and  Dr. Judy Lee, University of Central Florida. Much of the information--including identifying a need fr this kind of information--is the result of a survey conducted in 2008 of over 600 school library media specialists about their knowledge and use of web-based tools in library media programs. It is updated frequently with new tools and resources.

The purpose of this website is to provide a place for K-12 school library media specialists to learn a little more about web tools that can be used to improve and enhance school library media programs and services, to see examples of how they can be used, and to share success stories and creative ideas about how to use and integrate them. Especially valuable is the section on how to find the right tool according to purpose (task), cognitive level, learning style, stage of inquiry, category, and more.

Indispensible ICT Tools for Teachers

From the site:

The following list of ICT tools was crowd sourced from individual educationalists and not companies when the question 'What Indispensible ICT tools do you use in education' was asked and is not meant to be exhaustive in any way.
